On Saturday, our CrossFit Kids learned about the word of the day “communication” by working with a partner throughout the entire class. Coach Sandi taught them how to do medicine ball ground to overhead, or just the deadlift if going overhead was a bit too much, and introduced them to the rower! The workout called for one partner to row & do med ball G2OH, while the other one did box step ups, jumps, or climb overs. At the end of class, each kid grabbed a parent or sibling and did a version of “junkyard dog” to none other than “Who Let the Dogs Out”! Thanks for being such good sports, parents!! We’ve been having so much fun working with the kiddos and are looking forward to our next class this Saturday from 9-10am!
